Petty Harbour was built and has been sustained mainly by the inshore cod fishery. Fishing activity for more than 500 years includes crab, lobster, lumpfish, and cod.
As the chosen destination for the sets of such film productions as “Orca, A Whale for the Killing” and “Rare Birds”, our community is sure to appeal to the appreciative scenery seeker. Overlooking the ocean, and the place we call home. We would encourage you to stay with us and make your experience of Petty Harbour a memory forever.
Our community is home to many attractions within walking distance. Visit our Museum situated directly across the street from our rooms, set sail on the Scademia, or take a hike on the East Coast Trail. For your convenience, Petty Harbour Convenience and Liquor store is just a five minute jaunt away.
We have 3 units with our largest able to sleep 6 comfortably.
